This is further to the previous communication along with a consent form regarding the proposed Madrasah picnic on 10th July 2016. Parents are requested to note that we’ve had to change the venue to Walton On The Naze due to restrictions on coaches during the summer months at the previously decided venue. Further information about the new venue can be obtained as per the following web link:

Due to the change in venue, fresh consent signature is requested. In order to facilitate this,
Al-Madrasah Al-Burhaniyah (London) has set up a help desk in Evan E Saifee from 18th June to 25th June during 20:30-21:00 hrs every day. Kindly note that all consent and payments (where applicable) should be received no later than 25th June 2016. No consents/payments will be accepted after this date. Please find below some detailed information regarding the event. Kindly ensure that you read and understand the same carefully:
- Itinerary:
- 07:15 hrs – reporting at the Masjid Complex Car Park
- 10:00 hrs – estimated arrival at Walton On the Naze, conditions permitting. Coaches will be parked at Bath House Meadow/Princes Esplanade, Walton on the Naze, CO14 8PZ, where other parking may also be available. Children will be taken to the beach off East Terrace
- 12:30 hrs – lunch time (meeting point will be advised on the day)
- 13:30 hrs – Zohr-Asr Namaaz
- 16:00 hrs – Departure from the venue
- 18:30 hrs – Estimated arrival at Masjid E Husaini
- Requirements:
- Dress code:
- Dikrao should be wearing topi. They may separately bring a summer/baseball cap
- Dikriyo (non-misaaq) should be wearing a scarf and dressed appropriately for a Madrasah event. They may separately bring a summer/baseball cap
- Dikriyo (misaaq wala) should be wearing rida
- Appropriate spare clothing and towels as required for a beach event
- Appropriate footwear for a beach venue
- All are requested to bring their own packed lunch, snacks and drinks for the day
- Kindly bring appropriate required sun protection and provisions for possible adverse weather (water-proof jacket, umbrella etc)
- Children can bring their own beach equipment (Frisbees, buckets/spade etc)
- Unaccompanied children can bring appropriate amount of pocket money and will be personally responsible for the same

- Rules & Regulations:
- All children currently enrolled under Madrasah will travel free of charge. Accompanying parents/guardians and children not currently enrolled in Madrasah, are required to pay a transport fee of £17 per head
- All children under 11 years of age travelling on the coach will be required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian, who will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the child during the event.
- Payment for adults/non-Madrasah children must be made in advance for confirmation of seats.
- Payment should be made online on the Madrasah website at www.m-b.london, by selecting the ‘Pay Online’ option, sub-option ‘Madrasah Picnic (10th July 2016)’. This payment option will be removed from the website after 25th June 2016
- Swimming is strictly prohibited. Wading in the water will only be under supervision of volunteers/parents, as instructed on the day
- Timings for all activities as per itinerary above, must be strictly adhered to
- Children will be divided into groups on the day, and each group will be supervised by an adult staff member/volunteer. Children must follow instructions from staff/volunteers
- Parents bringing children in their own vehicle should ensure that they take their children back in their own vehicle
- All are requested to bring their masallahs and appropriate provisions for Zohr-Asr namaaz
